• Used to home the following RSH motors:
carrier transport X, carrier transport theta,
carrier transport Z, and carrier positioner.

• Tests the carrier transport and carrier
positioner sensors.

• Automatically determines the position of
calibration targets in relation to the home
position of the pipettor.
• Probe Straightness is determined.
• Positions are set for Sample Carriers, or
LAS Sample Carousel Wash station, RV1
and RV24.
• STAT positions are set for Sample
Carriers, Wash Station, and RV 47

• Precision check which compares the
amount of saline dispensed by the Sample
Pipettor to a reference
• Precision check which compares the
