As the rotational movement does not relieve the pressure on the soles of the
feet, the foot supports should not be in place for more than two hours. The foot
supports should be used every day to prevent drop foot. When the foot supports
have been removed from the bed, the patient's feet should be able to move freely
from one side to the other while the bed is rotating.
10.
Position the foot retainers so that the pads support each foot in an anatomically
neutral position. Now secure the foot supports by pushing the clamping
lever down.
