Installing and connecting the device
3.1 Preparing for installation
The data can be found on the front of the device when the front door is open.
● Serial number (S): The serial number can be found on the nameplate. The following
figure shows an example.
● Article number (1P) of the device
● Functional status (FS): A, B to H
● Microsoft Windows "Product Key" from the "Certificate of Authenticity" (COA label). You
will need the Product Key if you reinstall the operating system. The following figure shows
an example.

The device can be installed horizontally in consoles, control cabinets and 19" rack systems.
NOTICE
Operation in closed rooms
The device is approved for operation in closed rooms only. Pay attention to the ambient
and environmental conditions.
