Installing and configuring the hardware RAID adapter card

This section describes how you install and configure a RAID adapter card, based on the
example of ASR-8405. The description applies equally to other permissible RAID adapter
cards.
Requirement
For installation of the hardware RAID adapter card, you require the following:
● Tx10 screwdriver
● The hardware RAID adapter card with connection for the SAS/SATA data cable
connection for the capacitor block of the ZMM
● An adapter cable for connection of the hard disk drive
Observe the numbering of the connections
