Redundant Power Supply Unit (PSU) for PCI/Disk
Box
The PCI/disk boxes supplied by Fujitsu Siemens Computers are equipped with an
additional second power supply unit as standard. So PSU redundancy exists, which
make PSU hot swapping possible as well as using PCI/disk boxes in Dual Power Feed
configurations.
Addition of the redundant power supply unit (PSU) for the PCI/disk box must be
performed by a certified service engineer.
To perform hot system replacement of the redundant PSU for the PCI/disk box, use
the machine administration tool included in the Enhanced Support Facility.
