Branch Connection of UPC Interface

The UPC interface in the main unit can be connected to more than one UPS, using
branch connection, under certain circumstances. This section describes the situations
in which branch connections can be used.
(1) Cases in which branch connection is possible
When the main unit and one or more UPS units are connected in the connection
modes as shown below, a signal cable can be connected between the main unit and
each UPS.
l One UPS is connected to one main unit. (See
l Two or more UPS units are connected to one main unit. (See

connect signal cables between them depends on the condition of the ER signal
which is transmitted from the main unit. When using such a connection mode,
