(1) PCI slots (labeled 0, 1, 2,..., and 9 from right to left)
l The PCI slots conform to the PCI local bus specifications (Rev. 2.1).
l The PCI slots support bus width of 64 bits and clock frequencies of 33 MHz (5.0
VDC) and 33/66 MHz (3.3 VDC).
l A total of 10 PCI slots are provided. All of the slots can be used for short cards.
Four of the 10 slots can also be used for long cards.
(2) READY LED (green)
The READY LED lights in green to indicate that the PCI/disk box power is on.
(3) ALARM LED (amber)
The ALARM LED lights in amber to indicate that an error has occurred in the PCI/
disk box.
(4) Hot maintenance switch
The hot maintenance switch is used by a certified service engineer for conducting hot
system maintenance.
(5) CH-IF port (label indication: CH-IF)
The CH-IF port is connected to the main unit by the CH-IF cable.
(6) LCI port (label indication: LCI)
The LCI port is connected to the main unit by the LCI cable.
(7) Serial port
The serial port has a DSUB-25 pin connector to connect an RS232C cable.
(8) 100Base-TX/10Base-T port (label indication: ETHERNET)
The 100Base-TX/10Base-T port has an RJ45 connector that automatically recognizes
communication speeds (10 Mbps and 100 Mbps).
