Installing the front clamping arm

Insert torsion spring (8).

Hook pin (arrow) into torsion spring (8).

Slide on clamping arm (7).
N
Screw on nut (6).
N
Install E-clip (5).
N
Turn clamping arm (7) by the hexagon
N
counterclockwise as far as it will go and hold.
Tighten nut (6).
N

Hook tension rod (13) onto the brake lever (9).
N
Pull brake lever (9) toward the handlebar. The
N
tension rod (13) engages.
Slowly release brake lever (9).
N
Insert holding-down clamp (12).
N
Insert screws (11) and tighten.
N
Screw on and tighten nut (10).
N
Install middle belt pulley, @ 6.3.
N
Install the front V belt, @ 4.5.
N
Install the rear V belt, @ 4.3
N
Install "starter cover with rewind starter", @ 4.3.
N
Fit guard, @ 4.3.
