9) Press <F1: Edit> to enter the Edit Mode, and move the cursor to
the row labelled "Act Flow."
10) Enter a zero ("0") in this field and press <ENTER> to leave the Edit
Mode. This causes the microprocessor to compute the "Offset,"
which is the zero offset for the mass flow sensor. Record this
number for future reference.
11) Turn on the pump by pressing <F7: Pump> (<SHIFT> <F2>), and
then press <F2: Hub1> to allow the sample flow to pass through
the sample tube of the hub. The valve column should display
"H1."
12) Use the <F8: DecrFlw> (<SHIFT> <F3>) (continuously decrease
flow), <F9: HoldFlw> (<SHIFT> <F4>) (maintain current flow rate),
and <F10: IncrFlw> (<SHIFT> <F5>) (continuously increase flow)
keys to control the flow rate. The flow rate displayed in the row
labeled "Cur Flow" should be approximately 16.7 l/min.
NOTE: Pressing <F8:DecrFlw> (or <F10:IncrFlw>) will cause the flow to
continuously decrease (or increase) until <F9:HoldFlw> is pressed. If the flow
is not stopped, it will decrease (or increase) to a maximum point and will begin
to increase (or decrease) because of the circular gear used on the flow controller.
13) Determine the flow in actual l/min by using the external flow meter.
If you are using the Streamline FTS Flow Transfer Standard, enter
the pressure (inches H2O) in the FTS Pres field. Press <F1:Edit>,
