ROCEDURES
2) Remove the three screws and open the electronics compartment
door (Figure 3-1).
3) Locate the electronics compartment heater/fan assembly and note
its orientation. You will need this information later when install-
ing a new heater/fan assembly.
4) Disconnect the cable connecting the electronics heater to the
interface board (P11).
5) Disconnect the cable connecting the electronics fan to the inter-
face board (P101).
6) While supporting the assembly, remove the two screws that se-
cure the heater/fan assembly to the back of the electronics
compartment.
Follow these steps to install the electronics compartment heater/fan
assembly into the sampler:
1) While supporting the assembly in the proper position on the back
of the electronics compartment, secure the two screws. Ensure
that the orientation is correct (the fan should be on top).
2) Reconnect the cable connecting the electronics heater to the
interface board (P11).
3) Reconnect the cable connecting the electronics fan to the inter-
face board (P101).
4) Close the electronics compartment door and secure it with its
three screws.
5) Connect the unit's power cord to its AC source and resume nor-
mal operation.

EMOVING
EPLACING THE
Inside the electronics compartment of the Partisol Sampler, the interface board is
mounted on top of the CPU board. These boards are attached so that they can be
installed and removed as a unit. The user should not attempt to separate these boards.
The boards should be returned to R&P as a set if service or replacement is required.
