ROCEDURES
Follow these steps to install the fan into the sampler:
1) Hold the replacement fan and outside guard mounting frame in the
proper position on the enclosure. The fan should be positioned
so that the air is blown INTO the enclosure. There is an arrow on
the side of the fan that indicates the air flow direction.
2) Secure the fan using the four screws previously removed.
3) Replace the screen, filter and fan cover by pressing it onto the fan
mounting frame from the outside of the enclosure.
4) Connect the fan connector (P9) to the underside of the interface
board.
5) Replace the pump compartment cover.
6) Connect the power cord to the AC source and resume normal
operation.

Follow these steps to remove the mass flow controller assembly from the
sampler:
1) Turn the instrument off and disconnect the unit's power cord from
its AC source.
2) Remove the pump compartment cover (Figure 3-1).
3) Locate the hose that attaches the mass flow sensor to the large in-
line filter. Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the clip that secures the
hose to the mass flow sensor and remove the hose (Figure 3-3).
4) Locate the hose attached to the manual valve on the bottom of the
assembly. Examine the hose clip that secures the hose to the
valve.
5) Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the clip and remove the hose from
valve.
