6) Locate the wires that are attached to the mass flow controller
motor. Follow the wires until you find a Molex connector. Unplug
this connector.
7) Disconnect the mass flow sensor connector (P21A) from the
interface board.
8) Remove the four nuts that secure the mass flow controller assem-
bly to the enclosure. Remove the assembly.
Follow these steps to install the mass flow controller assembly into the
sampler:
1) Place the mass flow controller assembly in its proper position in
the enclosure. Ensure that the assembly is oriented so that the
vacuum gauge is visible.
2) Replace the four nuts that secure the mass flow controller assem-
bly to the enclosure.
3) Reconnect the mass flow sensor connector (P21A) on the inter-
face board.
4) Reconnect the mass flow controller motor connector.
5) Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the clip that secures the hose to the
mass flow sensor and replace the hose onto the mass flow sen-
sor fitting.
6) Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the clip that secures the hose to the
manual valve and replace the hose onto the valve.
7) Perform a system leak test (Section 3.1.5).
8) Perform a mass flow controller calibration (Section 3.2.5).

Follow these steps to remove the electronics compartment heater/fan
assembly from the sampler:
1) Turn the instrument off and disconnect the unit's power cord from
its AC source.
