In this chapter you will find information on commissioning the
CPX terminal on the Interbus.
CPX terminal configuration and addressing
Bus configuration and addressing on the Interbus:
The bus configuration is explained as an example with the
CMD software version 4.50.
You can adapt the reaction of the CPX terminal to the rel
evant requirements by parametrizing it. This enables e. g.
the setting of debounce times, signal lengthening or the
reaction to faults.
Before commissioning you must install the CPX terminal cor
rectly. Information on this can be found in chapter 1.
General information on commissioning CPX terminals as well
as a detailed description of the individual parameters can be
found in the CPX system manual (P.BE−CPX−SYS−..).
Information on commissioning the pneumatic interface, MPA
pneumatic modules and I/O modules can be found in the
manual for the CPX I/O modules (P.BE−CPX−EA−..) or CPX ana
logue I/O module (P.BE−CPX−AX−..).
Instructions on commissioning the pneumatics can be found
in the relevant pneumatics manual.
