Field bus cable
If the IP65/IP67 plugs from Festo are used, a cable outer
diameter of 7 ... 10 mm is permitted. The following cable is
suitable for use with the remote bus specifications:

Specifications on the bus length can be found in the manuals
for the module.
Please note
If the valve terminal is fitted into a moving part of a ma
chine, the field bus cable on the moving part must be pro
vided with strain relief. Note also the relevant specifica
tions in EN 60204 part 1.
The maximum permitted field bus length depends on the
baud rate used. With a baud rate of 500 kBd, the maximum
field bus length must not exceed 12.8 km (400 m per seg
ment).
