3.3.3 Diagnosis via the PCP channel

Via the PCP channel you have flexible access to the diagnostic
information of the CPX terminal.
Please note
In order to use the diagnosis via the PCP channel, you
must activate it with the DIL switch on the field bus node.
For accessing the diagnostic information via the PCP channel,
you can use the same methods as for parametrizing (see sec
tion 2.2).
Access to the diagnostic information via the PCP channel
takes place via index numbers. An overview of the available
diagnostic information, its function numbers as well as the
assignment to the index numbers can be found in the appen
dix A.3.
