Troubleshooting
• If the server booted, the failing DIMM is disabled, and the DIMM LED is lit:
a. If the LEDs are lit by two DIMMs and you have a monitor, check the system event
b. If the LED is lit by only one DIMM, replace that DIMM.

NMI LED is lit

The NMI LED on the light path diagnostics panel is lit when a nonmaskable interrupt occurs,
or the NMI button is pressed.
Troubleshooting steps
Procedure
1. If you have a monitor, check the system event log for information about the error.
2. Shut down server and remove the power cord.
3. Check that all plug-in cards and devices are firmly installed.
4. Turn on the server.
5. If the server does not boot, replace server.

DIMM.
- If the DIMM LED that corresponds to the original DIMM socket is lit, replace
server.
