User Guide for the T46S Skype for Business phone
Switching among the Handset, Speakerphone and
Headset Modes
You can place and answer calls on your phone in one of the three ways:
Pick up the handset to use the handset mode.
Press the Speakerphone key to use the speakerphone mode. The key LED glows green.
Press the HEADSET key to use the headset mode. The key LED glows green.
You can select the desired mode before placing a call. You can also dial the number first, and
then choose the way you want to speak to the other party.
You can also alternate between Speakerphone, Headset, and Handset modes by pressing the
Speakerphone key, the HEADSET key, or by picking up the handset during a call.

Placing Calls

You can place calls in many ways, including placing multiple calls, placing a call using a line key,
placing a call from the search result list, dialing the hotline number or redialing numbers. You
can also dial an entry/contact from call history or directory. For more information, refer to
Contact Management

Placing a Call

To place a call:
Do one of the following:
1.
Pick up the handset.

Press the Speakerphone key.

Press the HEADSET key.

Enter a number.
2.
You can also select a desired contact from the search result list, call history or directory.
Press the OK key , # key or Call.
3.
The # key is configured as a send key by default. You can also set the * key as the send key, or
