Adaptation for a fitting with the Triton Vertical Shock
For a fitting with a Triton Vertical Shock, the functional shank has to be adapted accordingly on
the lower side.
The following steps have to be completed to adapt the functional shank:
► Enlarge the opening on the lower side of the functional shank.
Adaptation for fitting feet with a small ankle circumference (optional)
Material can be applied to the tube adapter for fittings with feet that have a low structural height
(such as the 1D35, Triton LP).
Complete the following steps to adapt the tube adapter:
1) Measure the length of the tube adapter (from the bottom edge of the joint to the start of the
pyramid receiver of the tube adapter).
2) Cut a rectangle of the measured length and a width of 122 mm out of the material Pedilen or
Plastazote (5 mm thickness).

Exposing the tube adapter screws for feet with a high structural height
Complete the following steps to expose the tube adapter screws:
1) Remove the prosthetic foot.
INFORMATION: Using two Allen keys size 4 for the disassembly and assembly of the
prosthetic foot is recommended.
2) Secure the screws to prevent changing the foot position.
3) Turn the two opened screws completely into the tube adapter.
4) Insert the knee joint with tube adapter into the functional shank.
