6.3 Adapting the functional knee part
CAUTION
Incorrect protective equipment
Injury due to defective or lack of protective equipment.
Wear protective goggles and a dust mask during grinding.
Complete the following steps to adapt the functional knee part:

3) Mount the knee joint with adapter on the
socket.
4) Fully extend the knee joint.
INFORMATION: Use the 4H105 knee
extender for the C-Leg.
5) Check the upper knee part for collisions
with the socket.
6) Mark the collision points on the upper knee
part.
1) Press the clips out of the functional
cosmesis (knee part) and remove the
upper knee part from the lower knee part.
2) Sand the upper knee part in the required
area (see socket collision marking).
INFORMATION: Sanding the white area
is not permitted.
→ If the functional knee part and socket
continue to collide, the upper knee part
can be removed together with the
clips.
