Sheet Jam (Blue lamp blinks slowly.) : Jamming occurs inside the collator.
Check
A sheet is jammed in the
transport section.
Check
whether paper
chips are left in the sheet
path.
The sheets in the bins
are bent, curled, or not
stacked correctly.
Check
whether the
sheets are held together
by static electricity.
Check whether the
sheets are held
together by ink.
Check whether the
transport rollers or
transport belts are
stained.
Check whether the
double feed detect sen-
sor is covered with
paper dust.
The transport door may
not be closed com-
pletely.
(When using two or
more collators)
Power switch on one of
the collator connected is
not turned on.
Causes and Remedies
Open the transport door and remove the
jammed sheets.
