7.2 Checking and adjusting the rotation function (fig. 14)
1 Checking the rotation
The product is factory-set so that the lock pin 4 is drawn out of the
lamination ring 2 when the push button is pressed 3 , thus allowing
unimpeded rotation.
Since the adjustment of the locking pin may lead to loss of functionality,
an inspection must be carried out following installation in the prosthesis.
Check the proper function of the rotation as shown in the illustration (

7.3 Mounting the adapter 10A30
Mounting the adapter 10A30=M12×1.5/10A30=1/2"-20
Clean the thread surfaces of the terminal device and 10A30=* Adapter
with acetone. Let the acetone air dry and do not touch the thread surfaces.
Apply the 636K14 Loctite® 601 on the lower third of the thread surface
of the terminal device (fig. 12). Screw the terminal device completely into
the 10A30=* Adapter. Remove excessive Loctite®. Mount the terminal
device with adapter into the wrist unit and align the terminal device to the
lower arm, if necessary, by unscrewing from the adapter (by a maximum
of ¼ turn) (fig. 13). Remove the terminal device with the 10A30=* Adapter
from the wrist unit again and remove excessive Loctite® from the terminal
device or wrist unit. Let the adhesive air dry according to the manufac-
turer's specifications.
Mounting the adapter 10A30=1
Adapter for using the 10V39 in conjunction with terminal devices with
standard pins.
Insert the standard pin of the terminal device into the standard connection
of the 10A30=1 and secure the closure by turning the clamp sleeve to the
right. Mount the terminal device with adapter into the wrist unit.
