6 Panoramic and 3D calibrations and adjustments
NOTICE! Re-do panoramic pixel calibration, if cephalostat
sensor is moved to panoramic side or the sensor is
changed.
1. Attach the tube head covers.
2. Remove the calibration tools.
3. Select the Pan Pix program.
4. Press Patient Positioning.
5. Take an exposure.
6. Check that the calibration result is "passed".
6.5.13 3D Quality Check
The x-ray unit has integrated 3D quality check program,
which verifies following values from the reconstructed
volume automatically:
• Image noise
• Grey values
• Uniformity (Driver Update Package 15.1 or newer
required)
Following properties can be inspected visually by the user
from the reconstructed volume:
• Artefacts
