Caution
Take care that the electrodes are by no means touched after the
current is turned up!
(11) Signs of fatigue should stop the treatment (they may already occur after a few
muscle contractions)!
(12) After treatment, an acoustic signal will be issued. Turn the intensity down to 0.
(13) Remove the electrodes.
Treatment Procedure using Manual Release Key
Treatment with a manual release key is advisable for individual therapy methods for
stimulation during phonation exercises, in the field of sports, for intentional
exercises according to Förster as well as for practising both co-ordination and nerve
tracts. This is the great advantage of working with the manual release key.
(1) Plug the manual release key into the manual release key socket <11> at the
rear face of the instrument.
(2) Prior to attaching the electrodes, make sure that the intensity control<6> is
turned down to 0!
(3) Attach the electrodes to the respective stimulation points. The position of the
patient must enable a free movement of the stimulation area.
(4) Depending on the indication, select one of the current modes
the display <3>.
(5) If necessary, select the function
(6) Activate the acoustic signal, if desired.
(7) If necessary, adapt the pulse time T or the frequency and the pulse shape.
(8) For

manual release key position.

For
you can also set the intensity that the release time R is first set

to e. g. 1s and then switch to manual release key once the optimum
reaction is achieved.
(10) Set the therapy time.
(11) Set the time for treatment before turning up the intensity. While keeping the
manual release key depressed, slowly turn up the intensity (intensity
control <6>) until muscle contraction is sufficient. For
pulses while turning up the intensity and watch muscle contraction.
Therapy time elapses.
While turning up the intensity for the current mode

a message and an acoustic signal will be issued.
Thus, first turn up the intensity to almost 5 mA then release a pulse
manually. Only then will you be able to turn up the intensity by
another almost 5 mA.
(12) Release the button.
If the manual release key is pressed again, the current at
