3 Controls and Indicators PHYSIOMED ELEKTROMEDIZIN AG Chapter 3 Controls and Indicators The design of HIVAMAT ™ 200 Personal allows for easy operation, in combination with a variety of functions. Because of its small size, the instrument is very easy to transport. It has been designed for oper- ation also outside of therapy rooms, and is fed by a rechargeable battery for that reason. -

Don't expose it to excessive heat or open fire. The battery can only be replaced by an authorized service partner. Never open the instrument yourself to replace the battery. -

This self-discharge process cannot be prevented; the following instructions must therefore be considered to guarantee the battery a long service life. -

5 Treatment Preparation PHYSIOMED ELEKTROMEDIZIN AG How to prepare the applicator Plug the connection cables HIVAMAT ™ 200 (Ref. no. 00261) for the hand applicator and for the Titanium neutral element into the Ports <3>. Connect the Titanium neutral element with the other end of the cable and let the patient grip it. Al- ternatively, you can attach it on any part of the patient's body. -

6 Indications PHYSIOMED ELEKTROMEDIZIN AG Chapter 6 Indications With HIVAMAT ™ 200 Personal you can perform treatments according to preset indications which are stored together with the corresponding therapy parameters on the therapy card. For each displayed indica-tion you can refer to the recommended therapy instructions. You can now rotate the Data Selector <2> to select the current treatment duration, the duty cycle (e.g. 3:1), the lower frequency (e.g. 50 Hz), the upper frequency (e.g. 125 Hz) and the treatment duration of the three phases.
