Operating status
There is a controlling connection to the fieldbus system.
No controlling connection. However, the device is configured
(including IP address) and ready for a connection.
The option card performs a self-test.
The previously established controlling connection is in timeout
state. The state is reset by restarting communication.
Conflict detected during IP address assignment. Another node
in the network uses the same IP address.
The option card does not yet have any IP address parameters.
Operating status
The controller is in normal operating state.
The controller was not configured yet and is in "Standby"
state.
The option card performs a self-test.
A simple, correctable error, e.g. a faulty configuration, was de-
tected.
A serious, non-correctable fault was detected.
The controller is not switched on or is defective.
Possible cause
The fieldbus slave is OK.
The fieldbus slave is being ini-
tialized.
