Serverboard Features

At the heart of the FatTwin F517H6-FT lies the X9SCFF-F, a single processor
serverboard based on the Intel® C204 chipset and designed to provide maximum
performance. One of these serverboards is mounted in each node of the
F414IS-R1K62B chassis.
The sections below cover the main features of the X9SCFF-F serverboard (see
Figure 1-1 for a block diagram of the chipset).

Processors

The X9SCFF-F supports a single Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 processor
(Socket H2 (LGA 1155)). The processor supports four full-width Intel QuickPath
Interconnect (QPI) links, with support of up to 25.6 GT/s per QPI link and with
Data Transfer Rate of up to 8.0 GT/s per direction. Please refer to the serverboard
description pages on our web site for a complete listing of supported processors
(www.supermicro.com).

Memory

Each X9SCFF-F serverboard node has four (4) DIMM slots supporting up to 32 GB
of DDR3-1600/1333 MHz speed UDIMM in up to 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB or 8 GB size
at 1.5V voltages. See Chapter 5 for details.
Note: For the latest CPU/memory updates, please refer to our website at
http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard.

Serial ATA

A Serial ATA controller is integrated into the C204 to provide up to a six-port SATA
subsystem, (two SATA 3 (6 Gb/s) and four SATA 2 (3 Gb/s). RAID 0 and 1 (AHCI
SATA3) and RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 (AHCI SATA2) are supported. The SATA drives
are internal fi xed units.
