LED display
The Z9332F-ON switch includes LED displays on the I/O side of the switch. This section describes open networking installation
environment (ONIE) LED behaviors. Some LED behaviors may change after you install your software.
LED behavior
The following Z9332F-ON switch LED behavior is seen during start up:
NOTE:
Although each port has four LEDs, only one LED indicates switch status. The other three LEDs are intentionally
off.

NOTE:
For an ONIE-installed switch, after ONIE boots, the LED flashes 1 Hz green and yellow.

Description

Solid green—Normal operation
•
Flashing green—Booting
•
Solid yellow—Major alarm. For example, thermal sensor
reached the critical temperature
•
Flashing yellow—Minor alarm. For example, one PSU or fan
failed.
•
Off—No fan present
•
Solid Green—Normal operation and all fans present
•
Solid yellow—Any one fan is absent or any fan status not in a
normal status
•
Off—No power
•
Solid green—Normal operation and all PSUs are present
•
Solid yellow—One PSU is absent or any one PSU status is not
in a normal status.
