Collection of System Information

The ESX system information is recorded in syslog, etc. When you collect system information in the
NEC Express5800/ft series, log in to ftSys Management Appliance as a root user and run the following
command.
# /opt/ft/sbin/buggrabber.pl
If the following message appears, enter the host name or IP address of ESXi host.
Enter Name or IP address of the host ftServer [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]:
If the following message appears, enter the root user name of ESXi host.
Enter Administrative user for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx [xxx]:
If the following message appears, enter the root password for ESXi host.
Enter Administrative password for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx []:
The collected data is created in the following directory. (YYYYMMDD denotes created date.)
/tmp/BugPool/Bug_YYYYMMDD.tar
Note
It may take certain period of time to create Bug_YYYYMMDD.tar file.
