Motion Detection

Motion detection detects moving objects in the defined areas. In order to detect the moving objects
accurately and reduce the false alarm rate, normal configuration and expert configuration are
available for varied motion detection environments.
To configure Normal motion detection:
1. Check Enable Motion Detection.
2. Check Enable Dynamic Analysis for Motion if you want to mark the detected objects with green
rectangles.
3. Click Draw Area.
4. Click and drag the mouse on the live video to draw a motion detection area.
5. Click Stop Drawing to finish drawing one area.
(Optional) Click Clear All to clear all detection areas.

(Optional) Move the slider or type a number in the text box to set the detection sensitivity

level.
0 – no detection; 100 – Maximum sensitivity

6. Click Save.
Expert motion detection
Expert motion detection is primarily used to configure the sensitivity and proportion of object on each area
for different day/night switch.
1. Draw the detection area.
2. Select OFF for Scheduled Image Settings.
