BASIC OPERATION
Selecting a screen mode
The radar has 5 display modes.
L "(3D)" is displayed while in the 3D view mode.

The top of the display indicates your
heading.
Head-up
Targets are shown at relative distances
• H-UP
and directions to your heading.
• H-UP (3D)
The headline always indicates the top.
The top of the display indicates your

Stabilized
Targets are shown at relative distances
Head-up
and directions to your heading.
• SH-UP
The headline always indicates the top.
• SH-UP (3D)
L Requires Bearing data input.
The top of the display indicates the
Course-up
heading when the mode has started or
• C-UP
when started transmitting.
• C-UP (3D)
L Requires Bearing data input.
The top of the display is fixed to the
Magnetic north.
The targets are shown at their true
North-up
• N-UP
directions and relative distances to
• N-UP (3D)
your vessel.
L Requires Bearing data input.
The top of the display is fixed to
Magnetic north. The north marker is
fixed to the top.
True Motion
All the targets move with their true
• TM
courses and speed. The fixed target
• TM (3D)
such as islands are displayed as fixed.
L Requires Bearing and Position data
inputs.
