9.3 Eject bales

Attention, danger of injury!
Proceed with particular care when opening and closing the tail
gate. No persons may stay in the swivelling range of the tail
gate and in the bale unloading area.
When opening the tail gate keep a minimum distance of 2 m
from electrical high-voltage lines.
In case of locations on a slope: place the round bales always so
that they cannot move automatically.
9.3.1
RP 405 SPECIAL and RP 435
After tying has been finished: open the tail gate hydraulically
by means of the tractor control valve so that the bale rolls
out. Hold tractor control valve in "Lift" position until tail gate
is fully open.
The upper white lamp [3] (Figure 111) will be on as long as the
tail gate is not locked.
The lower white lamp [4] will light up only for a short time, when
the bale rolls over the bale ejector.
When the lower white lamp [4] has gone out (not earlier,
because the bale is still in the swivelling range of the tail
gate): close the tail gate hydraulically by means of the tractor
control valve. Hold tractor control valve in "Lower" position
until the tail gate is definitely locked.
As soon as the tail gate is closed, the upper white lamp [3] goes
out and crop pick-up for the next bale can be started.
Set tractor control valve to floating position after actuation
("Neutral" position).
