Preliminary Work

Vehicle
• Open the fuel tank cap.
• Ventilate the fuel tank.
• Close the fuel tank cap again.
• Depressurise the cooling system.
• Disconnect and remove the battery.
• Disconnect the air filter housing together with the plenum.
• Detach the coolant expansion tank.
• Remove the right front wheel.
• Remove the front wheel well trim on the right hand side.
• Remove the upper trim in the footwell on the front passenger's side.
• Remove the lower instrument panel trim on the driver's side.
• Remove the lateral instrument panel trim on the driver's side.
Heater
• Remove years that do not apply from the type and duplicate label.
• Attach the duplicate label (type label) in the appropriate place in the engine compartment.
