Tracer™ UC400 Controller Operations
Edit an Existing Point
Use the Analog, Binary, and Multistate tab screens on the Controller Settings button to edit point
definitions.
1. Click the Analog, Binary, or Multistate tab.
2. Select the check box on the left side the row of the point to edit.
3. Select the Edit option from the Action drop-down menu. The appropriate Point Configuration
4. Edit the desired individual settings. (Click Help to see descriptions of the various controls.)
5. Click Save when finished to save the point or points to the existing points file on the PC hard

Controller Settings Tab

The Controller Settings tab contains drop-down lists and options to select some controller and
display settings. The content of this screen is dynamically generated depending on the type of
controller to be connected to and the system protocol used to communicate with the controller.
Date and Time
Displays the current date and time from the controller.
1. Click the Date and Time expanding box.
2. Select the preferred settings using the Date and Time boxes.
3. Click Save to save selections

1. Click the Units expanding box.
2. Select the preferred Number Format from the Number Format drop-down list.
3. Select the preferred units of measure by clicking either the I-P (Inches and Pounds) or SI
