Controller Settings Utility

Use the Controller Settings button to perform the following:

Analog, Binary, and Multistate Tabs

Use the Analog, Binary, and Multistate tabs to view, create, edit, or delete the currently configured
input, output, and value objects residing on the equipment controller. In addition, point
configurations can be edited from the respective status pages with TU 8.1 or higher.
Note: To create new points to utilize the spare inputs/outputs and/or software-only points, refer
The following field descriptions apply to the Inputs, Outputs, and Values grid column areas of the
screen.

View analog, binary, and multistate points and I/O references
Configure new points and edit the configuration of existing points
Set the Tracer UC400 controller date and time, including format and time zone
Set the Tracer UC400 controller units (SI or IP)
Set the baud rate and view the device rotary dial settings
Soft-set the BACnet Device ID
Add expansion modules
Clear controller and event receivers
to the Tracer UC400 Programmable Controller Installation, Operation, and Maintenance
Manual (BAS-SVX20).
Copy: Use this option to copy an existing point configuration under a different name and then
modify it to avoid extra typing.
Edit: Use this option to edit an existing point configuration. The appropriate Properties dialog
box displays.
Delete: Use this option to delete one or more point configurations.
Add New button: Click this button to configure a new point. The appropriate Properties dialog
box displays.
Instance: Displays the sequence instance assigned to the point.
Name: Displays the name of the point.
Reference: Identifies the source or target of information supplied to or from the point.
State: Displays the current state of the point. (Point states are Normal, Out of Service, Fault,
and Alarm.)
Locked: Indicates if the point is locked (not modifiable).
Save to File: Saves the points listed on this screen to a new or existing file on the hard drive.
Send to Device: Saves the points to the controller.
Cancel: Returns the screen to its condition at the last save.
