Section 3 - Configuration
The Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) is a communications protocol used by hosts and adjacent routers on IPv6 networks to establish multicast
group memberships. Multicast allows for the transmission of identical content, such as multimedia, from a source to a number of recipients, and is
commonly used for applications like IP TV. This setting should be disabled unless you use a service that explicitly relies on multicast.
MLD Option:
Select Disable, Proxy, or Snooping. If you select Disable, no
additional configuration is required.
If you have selected Proxy:
Interface:
Specify a WAN interface over which the
