Section 3 - Configuration
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a widely used network monitoring and control protocol that reports activity on each network device
to the administrator of the network. SNMP can be used to monitor traffic and statistics of the DWR-961. The DWR-961 supports SNMP v1 and v2c.

Check this box to enable SNMP.

Enter contact and reference information. This information is for

reference only and will be displayed when administering the

router over SNMP.
Location:
Public
Enter the password public in this field to allow read-only
community:
access to network administration using SNMP. You can view the
network, but no configuration is possible with this setting.
Private
Enter the password private in this field to enable read/write
community:
access to the network using SNMP.
Trap:
Traps are short messages sent to remote controllers about SNMP
status. Check this box to enable them.
Specify SNMPv1 or SNMPv2c.
Trap Version:
Trap Address:
Specify the IP address to which the traps will be sent.
Click Apply to save your settings.
