IGMP/MLD

On the Advanced / IGMP/MLD page, you can allow the router to use IGMP and MLD and
specify needed settings.
IGMP and MLD are used for managing multicast traffic (transferring data to a group of
destinations) in IPv4 and IPv6 networks correspondingly. These protocols allow using network
resources for some applications, e.g., for streaming video, more efficiently.
The following elements are available on the page:

IGMP version
Interface
Set the address of
outgoing IGMP packets
equal to 0.0.0.0

IGMP
Move the switch to the right to enable IGMP.
Select a version of IGMP from the drop-down list.
From the drop-down list, select a connection of the Dynamic IPv4 or
Static IPv4 type for which you need to allow multicast traffic (e.g.
streaming video).
Move the switch to the right if you want all outgoing IGMP packets
to have the IP address 0.0.0.0.
