WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750
750-495 3-Phase Power Measurement Module

Figure 8: RMS value calculation (example, not to scale)

The current and voltage RMS values are calculated for each period in the I/O
module. The RMS values can be exported with every second period (2 T) with the
specified measuring accuracy via the process image. In a 50Hz-network this
corresponds to an update rate of 40 ms.
The arithmetic mean value for phase current and voltage is generated on the basis
of the RMS values. You can set the time interval during which the mean value is
to be generated using WAGO-I/O-CHECK, or parameters 34, 35, 36.
The RMS minimum and maximum values for current and voltage are also
determined over a configurable time interval (WAGO-I/O-CHECK or parameters
37, 38, 39).
Peak current and voltage values can also be recorded, but for only one selectable
phase. The specified observation interval for this can be set using the number of
half-waves (WAGO-I/O-CHECK or registers 43, 44, 45).
For the neutral wire's current the arithmetic mean value, min/max values and peak
values are not calculated.
Calculation of phase-to-phase voltages is performed on the basis of the phase
voltages and the corresponding phase angles.
