Caution - Do not plug the monitoring system into
a power outlet that is controlled by a wall switch.
Inadvertent use of the wall switch can interrupt power
to the monitoring system. Furthermore, if the switch
is turned off, the system will run on battery power and
will not remain charged.
If your clinician indicates that you must take the
monitoring system with you when traveling, you
can use it on battery power at your destination or
wherever an appropriate power outlet is available.
When traveling on an airplane, verify that the airliner
has fully pressurized baggage compartments. If it
does, you can pack the monitoring system in your
luggage for storage in the baggage compartment. If
the baggage compartment is not fully pressurized, you
can pack the monitoring system as a carry-on item.
