Prepare to Use the Monitoring System

erform the following steps to prepare the
monitoring system for use with your patient:
• Identify the parts of the monitoring system
• Choose a place for the monitor close to a power
outlet
• Attach a sensor to the monitoring system and to the
patient
• Turn on the monitoring system
• Verify operation
• Turn off the monitoring system
