Coin/Token Sensor Boards

Each of the target slots and 'holes in the ice'
have circuit boards with emitters and detectors
to sense coins/tokens. The size and style vary
but the basic replacement is the same for all
except the 'hole in the ice' boards. See
separate procedure.
1. Open the rear door to shut OFF power to
the game and to gain access to the circuit
boards.

2. If the faulty sensor is behind a coin chute,
remove the chute. Sensors located in the icicles
are mounted to extension brackets that need to
be removed to gain access to the sensors. See
Figure 14.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector on the
circuit board to be replaced. See Figure 15.
4. Remove the four square head screws
holding the circuit board to the mounting board.
5. Replace the circuit board and reconnect the
wiring.

6. Test the game for proper operation.

Hole in the Ice Circuit Boards

IMPORTANT: Replacement of the hole sensor
boards should only be performed by an
experienced service technician, as they are
located
in
an
area
disassembly of the game. Contact Bay-Tek
Service Department for additional assistance if
needed.
The following is an abbreviated procedure for
the replacement of these components.
1. Open the rear door to shut OFF power to
the game.
2. To gain access, the following components
need to be removed as well as associated
wiring and wiring clips. The rear door stops,
lower target mounting panels.
