You can set protective conductor cross-section if you want so that measured voltage drop
will be automatically compared with threshold voltage drop allowed. If threshold voltage
drop is exceeded, audible signal is activated. If you set „Off" instead of particular cross-
section value, the comparison is disabled.
Threshold values of voltage drop versus cross-section:

„Change PIN"
Only particular person(s) can operate the ESC 2051, if PIN code function is activated.
In such case operator must enter valid PIN code after the instrument powers up, otherwise
instrument's keyboard is locked.
PIN code can consists of max four digits. Code 0000 deactivates PIN code function. Detailed
description of PIN function - see chapter 3.2.
„Thermometer"
Temperature can be measured with optional K type (NiCrNi) temperature probe. See details in
chapter 4.10.
„RPM"
Revolution can be measured with optional revolution probe. See details in chapter 4.11.

5.3. Memory

Memory operation and connecting of the ESC 2051 to PC
Equipment testing procedure with saving measured results to instrument's memory and with
later transferring memorized results to PC can be following:
