4.8. Leakage current by means of three-phase adapter

4.8.1. PE current during operation and differential leakage current

PE current during operation should be measured on protective class I equipments
provided that it can be isolated from ground (from the earth potential).
See chapter 4.5. for details about insulating of tested equipments.
Step 1
Connect tested equipment with three-phase mains outlet via optional three-phase
adapter P 801x.
Connect three-phase adapter to connector 9 by means of adapter's connection cable
jack (Fig. 15).
Step 2
Select the three-phase adapter mode (identical with current clamp mode); proceed as follows:
Press the MENU key; the main menu is opened.
Use ▲ and ▼ keys to select submenu „Set-up" and press ENTER.
Use ▲ and ▼ keys to select item „I external: No". Press the ENTER key and release
it in order to select „I external: Yes".
Press the ESC key and release it (repeatedly) until you abandon (sub)menus.

key in order to select PE current during operation function or press the

I
key in order to select differential leakage current function.
DIFF.
Select the same function (either PE current during operation or differential leakage
current) with function switch on three-phase adapter, too.
