4.5.3. Protective class I three-phase and hard-wired equipments

WARNING - DANGER!!
It is strongly recommended to test PE current during operation on protective
class I three-phase and hard wired equipments by means of optional clamp or
three-phase adapter for safety reasons. Following procedure can be applied
only in the case you have no mentioned optional accessories. Pay attention to
all safety rules and wariness, because if insulation of tested equipment is
damaged, dangerous voltage could occur on exposed conductive parts! Secure
tested equipment in order other person could not touch it!
Equipment under test has DISCONNECTED protective conductor!
Higher possibility that the measurement instrument can be damaged!
Firstly test earth bond (chapter 4.1.) and also insulation resistance (chapter
4.3.), if it is possible. Then you can execute PE current during operation
measurement.
Take into consideration all safety warnings!
Equipment under test must be isolated from ground (from the earth potential)
during measurement!
