6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
6.1. Displayed messages
Different messages can be displayed during operation of the ESC 2051. Explanation follows:
PE error !!!
There is a problem in PE circuit of mains outlet, from which the ESC 2051 is powered:
dangerous contact voltage or too high loop impedance (e.g. PE wire disconnected).
Instrument's keyboard is locked. You must disconnect the instrument from mains and connect
it to mains outlet, which is not faulty.
Before you connect the instrument to the faulty mains outlet again, it is
necessary to determine and eliminate the reason of fault.
Block ...
Operator entered invalid PIN code. He has to disconnect the instrument from mains and
connect it to mains outlet again. Then he has to enter valid PIN.
Voltage on input
There is external voltage (> about 20 V) present in Test socket 1 or in test terminals.
If higher external voltage is connected to the instrument, it is possible, that the ESC
2051 switches to another function itself instead of displaying warning message.
External voltage must be disconnected in order to enable measurement.
