4.10. Temperature

Step 1
Connect optional K type temperature probe P 9030 to terminal 2.
Step 2
Select temperature measurement mode; proceed as follows:
Press the MENU key; the main menu is opened.
Use ▲ and ▼ keys to select item „Thermometer".
Temperature is continuously displayed. Symbol „---" is displayed, if temperature probe
is not connected.
Measurement can be finished with the ESC key.
It is not possible to save temperature to memory.

4.11. Revolution

Step 1
Connect optional revolution probe P 9050 to terminal 10.
Step 2
Select revolution measurement mode; proceed as follows:
Press the MENU key; the main menu is opened.
Use ▲ and ▼ keys to select item „RPM".
Revolution is continuously displayed. „0000" is displayed, if revolution probe is not
connected.
Measurement can be finished by the ESC key.
• It is not possible to save revolution to memory.
• You must scan part of rotating object on which lighter and darker surface are
alternated during rotation. If it is not possible (or if measurement is erroneous), we
advice to place reflective part to object rotation of which is to be measured. You can
use paper sticker for example. Each interruption of luminous flow represents one
pulse and thus one revolution. So if there are two reflective parts on rotating object,
displayed result is two times higher in comparison with real rotation!
• Measurement can be unfavourably affected by artificial light (e.g. fluorescent lamp).
