Inspect the camshaft sprocket for worn teeth or other signs of wear or damage.

Camshaft Installation

Clear out the cylinder head oil passages with compressed air. Make sure all
cylinder head oil passages are free of clogs.
NOTE: Always wear safety glasses when using compressed air and never point it
directly at yourself or anyone else.
Remove the crankshaft cap on the right side of the engine with a large flat blade
screwdriver. Inspect the O-ring on the cap and replace it as needed.
