TROUBLESHOOTING

Starter motor will not turn

• Fuse burned out
• Weak battery
• Faulty ignition switch
• Faulty starter clutch or gear
• Faulty front or rear stop switch
• Faulty starter relay
• Poorly connected, broken or shorted wire
• Faulty starter motor
Lack of power
• Weak battery
• Loosed wire or connection
• Foreign matter stuck in starter motor

Starter motor rotates but engine does not start

• Faulty starter pinion
• Starter motor rotates in reverse
• Weak battery
Lights, Switches, AND
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
• Note the following when replacing the halogen headlight bulb
1. Wear clean gloves while replacing the bulb. Do not put finger prints on the
headlight bulb, as they may create hot spots on the bulb and cause it to fail.
2. If you touch the bulb with your bare hands, clean it with a cloth moistened
with alcohol to prevent its early failure.
3. Be sure to install the dust cover after replacing the bulb.
