Loosen the cylinder coolant hose clamp with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Free the
coolant hose from the cylinder.
Slide the cylinder off of the studs and piston. Guide the cam chain through its
opening and do not allow if to fall into the crankcase. Remove the cylinder.
Remove the base gasket.
