Step Procedure
1 Avoid operation below normal oil temperature (90 to 110
°C / 194 to 230 °F), as possible formation of condensa-
tion water in the lubrication system badly influences the
oil quality.
To evaporate possibly accumulated condensation water,
at least once a day 100 °C (212 °F) oil temperature must
be reached.
Normally the cooling down of the engine during descending and
taxiing will be sufficient to allow the engine to be shut off as
soon as the aircraft is stopped.
At increased operating temperatures make an engine cooling
run of at least minimum 2 minutes.
Step Procedure
1 Check the engine instruments.
2 Reduce engine speed down to idling.
3 Deactivate Lane select Switch B.
4 Deactivate Lane select Switch A.
5 Switch the fuel pumps "OFF".
6 Shut-off according to the aircraft manufacturer
regulations.
7 Set main Switch to "OFF".
